Chili peppers pretty much hang everywhere!
On our last day, we finally walked up to check out the historic chapel at our hotel. Little did we know that it was where Willa Cather had based her book on Archbishop Lamy in "Death Comes to the Archbishop". A book that both Eric and I read and loved about Santa Fe! So we were delighted to come to the place where the archbishop actually was!! I think Willa Cather got married there too.
This is the lovely cloud formation off the highway (speed limit 75) on our drive back to the airport to come home. Whew! What a long trip. Fun but we definitely missed the boys! Next week long trip in 5 years!
