Goodbye Little Clippers! Hello Kindergarten!

Here's the proud graduate!

Singing 5 Little Monkeys

It was a Hawaiian theme...
Graduation ended up being a happy occasion like one would expect...earlier in the day, however, I was thinking it could be a disaster. On Thursday, their last day of preschool (for Cal FOREVER) I ended up having to drop them off which is not the norm. We pull into the high school driveway and Cal says, "Mommy, I don't want this to be my last day!" and puts his head in his hands and starts sobbing...literally, no fake crying, totally devastated. I'm thinking, "Crap! What do I do now??" I'm starting to feel emotional but am determined not to cry. So I say, "Cal you're so excited for kindergarten. It's going to be so fun!" To which he tells me, "But I like it here..." We enter the preschool and the high school students see that Cal is upset and they're like "awww.." and Ben says, "He's just a little sad". So cute. I had to make a few trips back and forth to bring in drinks for the graduation at night and on my last trip the teacher is holding Cal and now SHE'S bawling. She goes, "He's killing me!" So I totally lose it at this point. I'm crying and need to just get out of there so I tell Cal to have a good day and jet! No one was sad at the graduation though and I think Cal is still very psyched to go to kindergarten...after three years of preschool, he's more than ready!!

Proof that Ben is, in fact, getting along with other dogs! This is a picture of Cal and Ben at their friend Riley's house...posing for pictures with the dog!

I just looked back at pictures of Pip on the blog and it's amazing how freakin' TINY she was! She's lengthened a lot! She was less than 3 lbs and now is at almost 6, so she has doubled in size - holy guacamole! I thought this picture was just the cutest since they are all looking, even Pip. Unfortunately, it's hard to tell just how big she's gotten!
