Introducing....Baby Girl Pip!

Oops, not Minnie Ben....although he makes quite a nice girl :)

Here she is, baby Pip! She's a Boston Terrier and was born on Feb 6th. We got to see and hold her this weekend at 3 weeks old. She's teeny tiny and isn't expected to be much more than 12 lbs as a fully grown adult. She has to stay with Mom, Oreo, until 8 weeks so we'll be going back to get her on April 3rd. We're SO SO SO excited to have this new addition and I'm particularly pleased to FINALLY be having another female in the house, even if it is a puppy!

Here's Pip (far right) with her brothers.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Since the boys love the colors pink and purple, they thoroughly enjoy this commercial holiday!

Cal's taking some time out to read to his brother's. Although he's not quite reading reading yet. He does fantastic with simple sentences and recognizes more words than I realized! Go Cal!

Here's Cal at Gunstock with his instructor Ethy. I haven't seen him ski yet but apparently he's found his "thing". He loves skiing more than anything and I'm told he's very good at it too! During his first lesson with Ethy (his second lesson ever) he was already riding up the chair lift and skiing down the hill. He would love nothing more than to spend a whole day skiing even if it is cold out and Eric says it's hard to get him to come home!!

Seth is progressing right along. The video I posted of him talking doesn't really do him justice. He talks a lot more now. His favorites are "Cal, car, here you go, and cracker". He's been saying Cal for so long now that I finally got him to at least say "Ba" for Ben. His happiest moments are when I tell him we're going in the car...to which he'll promptly go get his shoes and coat and bring them to me or getting his brothers from preschool. Because really, he'd rather be playing with them than with me. He's currently obsessed with this Thomas the Train we have that drives around on it's on and responds to voice commands. It's pretty annoying. His newest trick is to jump up and get both feet off the ground! No small feat to which I totally credit the trampoline for giving him the idea and mechanics to know how to do it. He's still small for his age and eating is NOT his favorite thing to do but I'm over it now. He's definitely healthy and obviously developing cognitively very well so I'm just going to accept that he's the runt of the litter! We love him all the better for it :)
