Halloween was fantastic this year! Much of it had to do with the very warm weather (still 50 degrees at 7pm!) and the fact that I borrowed the puppy and chicken costumes from my sister-in-law. Usually costume making is time-consuming and stressful but not so this year!! Seth was hysterical as a chicken. He was terrified of the costume at first but once we finally got it on him after lots of struggle and numerous attempts, he LOVED all the attention he got. We're famous at preschool for costumes so I always dress Seth up and take him along too...they couldn't get enough this year.
Seth was all for trick or treating this year! It was so cute. We'd practiced what to do and say...and let me tell you, when he saw that bowl of candy there was no stopping him. He was such a bully...pushing his brothers out of the way on the doorstep to get at the loot. It was hysterical. He made it halfway around our neighborhood (so 1/2 mile plus driveways!)walking the whole way and stayed out for an hour before we thought we'd better bring him home. He had lots of fun yelling to people..."chicken!" and "cock-a-doodle-doo" were some of his favs! Ben claimed it was "The best Halloween ever" so I guess we'll leave it at that!
